Archive volunteer needed: Can you help?

archive_volunteer_snowdonia

During a recent office tidy-up we unearthed this poster for the Snowdonia Society’s first Public Meeting. It is humbling to see that the vision behind that meeting on Saturday 10th June 1967 remains relevant today.

With the Society’s 50th Birthday on the horizon, we would like to make available this  and other evidence of our long history of action for Snowdonia – evidence which is  mostly unsorted and therefore inaccessible.

We are looking for a special volunteer to create an archive of this evidence. The aim will be to sort, evaluate, record and present the material in ways which will be permanently available and useful as an archive and for display.

Please get in touch if you think you might be able to help. This could be an excellent rainy day project!
