Join us for a two day Bee-keeping Course aimed at people who are interested in taking up beekeeping or wanting to learn more about bees.
Led by a highly experienced bee-keeper, this course will provide a background into beekeeping, looking at the basics of bee-keeping, hive construction and positioning, managing bees, where to get bees and equipment and the importance of bees in the environment followed by a practical afternoon session with the bees. You will need to bring with you a pen, a notebook, some washing up type Gloves, appropriate footwear (ideally wellingtons) and refreshments.
This course is free for Snowdonia Society Volunteers.
