Volunteer week

A wonderful week of diverse volunteer activities in Snowdonia National Park. Free transport available from Bangor and Caernarfon.

Monday: Pensychnant Conservation Centre, Conwy.  We’ll be helping out with the maintenance of this beautiful area of countryside- maintaining boundaries to keep grazing animals in the right places!

Tuesday: Lon Gwyfrai Footpath Work. Lon Gwyrfai is one of Snowdonia’s newest footpaths and is rapidly becoming a family favourite. Our work maintaining this fantastic stretch of path will go along way to help continue its rise in popularity.

Wednesday: Snowdon Litter Pick. The levels of litter found on Snowdon has improved over the past couple of years, however, the job is not yet complete. Come and help us clear one of the most popular footpaths in Wales as we tackle the litter around Glaslyn Lake 600m above sea level.

Thursday: Abergwyngregyn Woodland Work. We will be lending a hand at the Abergwyngregyn Nature Reserve as we help control the spread of conifers and protect the area to help our native broad-leaved trees thrive.

Friday: Woodland work with the Woodland Trust.  We’ll be working with the Woodland Trust at their stunning Celtic rainforest site of Felinrhyd and Llennyrch.  Come and lend a hand on a day of woodland work!

Please note: preference will be given to people who can commit to the whole week.
