Wetland Weekend; We’re Wild about Wetlands

Join us on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th October to celebrate our wonderful wetlands!  Come along to find out more about these interesting (and essential!) habitats! Through a series of walks, talks, training and practical work you’ll finish the weekend as wild about wetlands as we are.

Saturday 15th (based at Glasdir, Llanrwst) will involve a mornings training session in identification skills, a guided walk around the wonderful Cors Bodgynydd – a North Wales Wildlife Trust (NWWT) managed wetland and will finish off by joining NWWT for a talk from wetland specialist Dr Joan Daniels.

Sunday 16th will be spent outside getting involved in some practical wetland management! Rob Booth (NWWT) will be on hand to answer specific questions about the management of Cors Bodgynydd and our experts will be on hand to show you interesting species.

Places are limited so booking is essential!

You are welcome to attend one or both days (although we encourage you to attend both!), priority for places on the transport will be given to those coming for both days.
