Volunteers worked hard through the Mad March weather!

March saw some sunny spells, but also brought some heavy rain for our volunteers.  Come rain or shine though they were out planting trees, cleaning beaches, mending fences, gardening for wildlife and maintaining woodlands.  A big thank you to them for all their hard work! In March they worked well over 200 hours looking after Snowdonia.

Conifer ID

Conifer identification workshop, March 2017

March also saw the first of our courses run: An Introduction to conifer identification.  12 people attended and despite the rain they still enjoyed the day.  As volunteers, they could attend this course absolutely free.  We have a number of courses and workshops coming up over the year, so keep an eye on our training and courses page and see if there’s anything you fancy.

Not a volunteer? Don’t worry! We have lots of opportunities coming up! Everyone is welcome and no experience is necessary.
