The Future of Snowdon – take part in the consultation

Public consultation on the new Snowdon Partnership Plan opens today !

Future of Snowdon: Request for feedback

The Snowdon Partnership, which consists of a range of organisations which care about  and have responsibility over the future of Snowdon, will begin consulting on its Snowdon Partnership Plan today (Thursday, June 15th).

The Snowdon Partnership Plan sets out how members of the Partnership will carry out their work within the Snowdon area in a co-ordinated way. It highlights what’s been achieved by the Partnership so far, informs people about what the Partnership is aiming to achieve and will be used to pursue increased investment in the area in order to achieve the Partnership’s vision.

Helen Pye, Snowdonia National Park Authority’s Partnerships Manager explains,

“People’s views and ideas are extremely important to us which is why we’re providing this opportunity for people to give their feedback on the draft Plan. Ensuring input from others is so important so that we can produce the best Plan possible for the area, and the Plan as a result will evolve and be adapted as appropriate.”

The on-line consultation begins today at www.snowdonpartnership.co.uk and will continue until July 7th. A drop-in session has also been organised for July 4th between 2 and 7.30 at the Electric Mountain, Llanberis.
