A big thank you to Myddelton College and Coleg Menai pupils who have been working with us over the winter months throughout Eryri. Groups have been involved in habitat management of a site of special scientific interest, and clearing of gorse from scheduled prehistoric sites in the Carneddau. Well done everyone! Your hard work and enthusiasm have made a big difference and achieved a huge amount. We are looking forward to working with many more groups in the year to come.
It has also been a pleasure to meet and spend time with Bethesda Scouts group and Caernarfon Young Farmers recently talking about conservation work in Eryri – your interest and engagement is encouraging and inspiring!
If you know of a school or youth group who would like to get involved in conservation activities in Eryri, please get in touch with dan@snowdonia-society.org.uk.
