A proportion of the race proceeds from the annual Fabian 4 Dyffryn Conwy Mountain Challenge has been donated to the Snowdonia Society.
Last month over 80 athletes gathered for the gruelling local challenge which included a section of kayaking along the Conwy estuary, mountain biking and trail running in the Gwydir Forest.
Snowdonia Society Director John Harold said: “The Challenge has been a strong supporter of the Snowdonia Society in the past, having raised over £4,000 towards our work in the National Park.”
He added: “Many of our members also volunteered to help marshal on the day, showing the true community spirit of this exciting, eco-conscious event.”
The Snowdonia Society would like to thank race organisers Ellie and Adrian of online entry events provider Fabian 4 for once again donating proceeds from the race towards our work keeping Snowdonia beautiful.
