It was a great day of fundraising on the Snowdonia Society stall at the Conwy Honey Fair held on 13th September. Takings were a record £283.00 through the sale of Tŷ Hyll honey, plants, seeds and cards. Thank you to Margaret, Morag and Fran for a very productive day!
Bees are important to our ecosystem and beekeeping has been recognised throughout history. The Conwy Honey fair was founded some 700 years ago by Edward I. You can visit the Honeybee Room at the Society’s flagship property, Tŷ Hyll to learn about the crucial role of honeybees and pollinators and what you can do to help them, then watch them in action in the garden and at their hives in the woodland.
If you missed out on this event it’s not too late! All of the products sold at the fair are available to purchase at Tŷ Hyll and Snowdonia Society members benefit from a 20{cfe7b007ef2d97d6c94c66bdf5fd69182957ee376eb8b20ce6b541889da3df98} discount on food and drinks orders at the Pot Mêl Tearoom Join now to benefit.
