Did you know that the Snowdonia Society’s work on planning issues and policy responses is entirely dependent on the generous support of our members via their subscription payments and donations? We will be able to do more if we can raise additional money through fundraising.
It could be simple or genius, large or small. If you have an idea for a fundraising activity or event, we’d love to hear from you! Whatever it is, we’d love to help you turn your passion for Eryri into practical care for what we all love – the special places, nature and heritage around us.
We’re fortunate to have strong support from members, volunteers, partner organisations and local community groups. However we know we could do so much more if only we had the resources. Like many charities, we’re concerned that we don’t rely too heavily on grant funding to support a lot of our work. With your help we can build a more sustainable model for funding important work that benefits people and places across Eryri.
So if you are passionate about Eryri, now is the time to make a panad, sit down with pencil and paper and dream up some fundraising ideas. Then get in touch to discuss how we can support you to make it happen. Then we can spread the word and inspire others.
We can supply sponsorship forms and other materials, and we may be able to help promote your activity.
