Supporters of the Snowdonia Society’s conservation work have raised a total of £5,728 through pledges and donations via TheBigGive Christmas Challenge, held online earlier this month.
Donations will boost our Nature Recovery in Snowdonia campaign which will see 100 conservation action days planned for 2022, backed up by an information campaign to help more people do their bit to look after the landscapes and habitats of Snowdonia.
Snowdonia Society Director, John Harold, said:
“We are delighted to exceed our target of £3200 by day three of the seven-day campaign! During the pandemic we’ve had to shift from face-to-face to online fundraising and we’re very grateful to our supporters for their willingness to adapt.”
He added:
“A special thank you goes to the donations made by our Business Members Ross and Kate at RAW Adventures, the team at Joe Brown Shops and Snowdonia Society member Derek Clarke, whose generous donations helped us smash the target.”
Stay tuned for our next online fundraiser.
