BOOKING FOR DAY DELEGATE PASSES (THURSDAY ONLY) CLOSES AT MIDDAY ON THURSDAY 6TH OCTOBER
12-14 October 2022
Plas y Brenin | National Outdoor Centre
Join Cymdeithas Eryri – the Snowdonia Society – as we host the National Park societies’ annual conference this autumn at Plas Y Brenin National Outdoor Centre in Eryri’s spectacular mountain scenery.
Welsh designated landscapes operate in a distinctive cultural, legislative and policy framework, underpinned by our government’s commitment to the wellbeing of future generations.
So this year we welcome delegates from the wider family of like-minded organisations in Wales, in addition to the national park societies in England and Wales. This includes people committed to creating the first new National Park in Wales since devolution, conserving Wales’ five existing Areas of Outstanding Beauty and campaigning for a new designated landscape in the Cambrian Mountains of central Wales.
There will be speakers on topical and controversial matters, interactive workshops, plenty of networking opportunities, inspiring case studies and field excursions. And we’ll celebrate the essence of Eryri – a place where language and landscape are indivisible.
Through the conference we want to share thinking and practice:
