Thank you to Ellie Salisbury for her generous donation to the Society from the proceeds of the recent Gladstone 9 fell race, which she organises. Ellie’s business Fabian4 provides online entry services and live participant tracking for a range of outdoor events such as British Fell Relays. The live tracking of competitors through checkpoints is an invaluable safety feature for any mountain race. Ellie is a great example of a local event organiser who takes great care to make sure that events are managed really responsibly and respectfully for the benefit of the local area.
