Location: Flexible working in Caban LL55 3NR and from home
Salary £42,800-£48,000
Contract: Full-time (37.5 hours per week, negotiable)
Pension: Employer contribution of 6%
Reports to: The Board of Trustees
Line manager: Chair of the Board of Trustees
The role
Do you have a deep knowledge and love of nature with a strong track record and experience of working in conservation and the protection of landscapes and heritage?
Can you demonstrate how you would use this to lead Cymdeithas Eryri in the future, helping us to develop the special roles we have, making a difference in practical conservation, advocacy and campaigning?
Do you have vision and strategic flair?
Are you a relationship builder with excellent communication skills able communicate effectively in Welsh and English, inspire and influence others, and build mutually beneficial partnerships?
Do you enjoy the challenge of leadership and organisational development, working with and empowering a team, while bringing out the best in people through caring for their well-being and development?
If so, you may be the right person to join Cymdeithas Eryri at a critical time of nature depletion, the impact of climate change, increased visitor pressures and a challenging fundraising environment in the midst of a cost-of-living crisis.
About Cymdeithas Eryri / Snowdonia Society
Cymdeithas Eryri is a charity dedicated to protecting and enhancing the beauty and special qualities of Snowdonia and promoting their enjoyment in the interests of all who live in, work in or visit the area both now and in the future
It is member based and works with volunteers, local organisations, businesses and individuals to help look after Eryri. Since 1967 Cymdeithas Eryri has worked tirelessly to ensure that Eryri is well protected, well managed and enjoyed by all.
