As a Conservation Assistant Trainee, Chelsea will be gaining lots of valuable experience in practical conservation and will be involved in planning and leading volunteer days alongside the rest of the conservation team.
Chelsea studied Physics at the University of Warwick before shifting her focus to the environment and joining the Open University to study Environmental Science where she undertook a placement year with the Field Studies Council in Pembrokeshire.
Chelsea has gained experience in the environment and conservation through working and volunteering in different areas around Wales. Having gained woodland experience in the Gwent valleys, coastal experience in Pembrokeshire and on Skomer Island and marine experience in New Quay, she is excited to further expand through the variety of habitats seen throughout Snowdonia.
She is a big fan of animals (please tell her about your pets), enjoys watching birds, making up songs and drinking lots of tea.
The Snowdonia Society, established in 1967, is a member-based registered charity working to protect and enhance the beauty and special qualities of Eryri and to promote their enjoyment in the interests of all who live in, work in or visit the area both now and in the future.
