After graduating from Aberystwyth University, Jane worked in agricultural research, then a period teaching in further education and latterly roles in the public sector delivering Plant Health surveillance, outbreak management and policy development.
Jane is strongly supportive of partnership working, advocacy, and working with communities and land managers to encourage nature’s recovery and engagement with Eryri’s special qualities.
She is enthusiastic in supporting development of appropriate volunteering and training opportunities to facilitate career paths into conservation, land management and wider areas.
A keen walker, Chartered Biologist and CESS practical volunteer Jane is hoping to encourage more people to appreciate, enjoy and look after our diverse landscapes.
The Snowdonia Society, established in 1967, is a member-based registered charity working to protect and enhance the beauty and special qualities of Eryri and to promote their enjoyment in the interests of all who live in, work in or visit the area both now and in the future.
