Richard Heavers

Trustee

Richard Heavers has long standing links with north Wales and Eryri having spent a lot of his childhood in Eryri and on Anglesey where his grandparents lived. Previously a geography graduate and having spent a number of years living and travelling abroad, he finally settled near London and worked for 27 years with Santander plc performing various roles across marketing and retail operations.

Eventually moving to the north Wales coast in 2012 with his young family, he has been keen to support and involve himself in community activities and organisations that benefit the local area and its people. Now retired, he enjoys walking, bird watching, sea kayaking and helps coach a local junior county football team. As a consequence he wants to help ensure that the National Park is managed not only to preserve its unique beauty, but is also accessible in a way that inspires all generations and younger generations in particular.
